American red snapper is one of our bestsellers thanks to its beautiful red color and mild, sweet and slightly nutty taste. While many restaurants and fishmongers may offer red snapper, the name red snapper has been foisted off on just about any red fish. Thanks to our direct relationships with fisheries, our red snapper is always authentic and delicious.

Red Snapper:

• American red snapper are primarily caught in the Gulf of Mexico.
• Referred to as tai on sushi menus; note that this is true American red snapper and some menus will use this term for Pacific red snapper which has a very different taste and texture.
• Managed under United States and/or state regulations, red snapper is a sustainable choice.
